چکیده

In this paper, we investigate a mobile edge computing (MEC) network, where the user has some computational tasks to be assisted by multiple access points (CAPs) through offloading. We consider practical communication scenarios with limited spectrum resources, and cochannel interference arising from aggressive reuse of frequency severely degrades system offloading performance. To enhance performance, provide three CAP selection criteria choose one best among ones. Specifically, criterion I maximizes capability at CAP, II minimizes interfering power, while III instantaneous channel gain data link. time-varying environments, may outdated, which deteriorates For criteria, evaluate outage probability in outdated state information (CSI) taking into account latency, energy consumption rate, analytical asymptotic expressions probability, obtain critical insights on design. Simulation results are finally demonstrated verify proposed studies. particular, criterion III under perfect CSI can achieve whole diversity order coming CAPs.

Investigations into Cochannel Interference in Microcellular Mobile Radio Systems

A microcell interference model termed the Nakagami m,/m, is introduced in this paper. The desired signal as well as the cochannel interferers are assumed to have Nakagami statistics but with different amounts of fading. A special case of this model is obtained when the desired signal has Nakagami statistics while the cochannel interferers are subject to Rayleigh fading. The probability density ...

Average Fade Duration for Dual Selection Diversity in Correlated Rician Fading with Rayleigh Cochannel Interference

The average fade duration (AFD) finds diverse applications in evaluation and design of wireless communication systems. This quantity provides a dynamic representation of the channel and presents the average period of time for which signal stays below a predetermined threshold level. In this paper, an infinite-series expression of AFD for dual selection combining (SC) diversity receiver, operati...
